The miller got two or three vessels of meal as payment. People brought food with them and spent the night at the mill. Information about the old kilns and how they were used. Detailed information about a quern the contributor saw and how it was used. The mills were great cèilidh places. People stopped using querns 60 years ago and the mill closed 20 years ago [said in 1968].
