Summary
A dialogue song in which Jeanie asks her sweetheart Jamie what he will bring her back from his travels. He suggests a new gown, and a new man for her, but she rejects both, saying she wants him only. He then tells her that he already has a wife and three children abroad. She chides him, saying she would not have given him her heart had she known. He relents and promises to marry her. She warns him that she has nothing to match his own wealth, but he replies that he will share all that he has with her, including Blair Atholl, Dunkeld and Huntingtower.
