Summary
'Murchadh mac Iain Òig' from Tigharry.
'Murchadh mac Iain Òig' from Tigharry was an exceptionally strong man. He worked in a granary in Glasgow. He carried sacks weighing 280lb up forty steps all day. Once when a Skyeman to whom he had given a reference became exhausted, he carried two sacks of that weight on his back for part of the day. He was also a very witty man. He and Alec MacPhail from Locheport often teased each other. Stories are told about this.
