Summary
The young fellows who made whisky in Glenelg.
At one time, a family in Glenelg used to make whisky at a particular still. They used to sell the whisky to a John MacCrimmon, who ran a hotel in Kylerhea. On one occasion, the gamekeeper informed the gaugers in Kyleakin, who subsequently went to confront the lads. However, John MacCrimmon sent somebody ahead of the gaugers to warn them, with the result that they only found the still pot. This pot travelled from place to place afterwards.
