Summary

Churches' General Assemblies in Edinburgh.

Two ministers and two people who are not church members discuss whether the assemblies are of any use. One minister says there is little point in talking for a week if the things discussed are not put into practice throughout the year. From outwith the church, the other two say it has no influence on the life of the population at large, but that the assemblies do influence the media, since there is nowhere else where they can hear subjects debated at length.
