Summary
How a surveyor met a man living in a cave in Australia.
There was a surveyor in Australia who used to travel around on a horse. He got lost in a storm and met a man who was living in a cave. The man gave him shelter for the night. He told him that he was from England, from a wealthy family, but that he had a fight with a cousin and he thought that he was dead. He escaped to Australia. The surveyor went home the next day. After a time he received a letter from the man in the cave, saying that he was going back to England and enclosing a cheque. He wrote from England inviting him over and saying that the cousin was alive and well.
