Summary
A song on the loss of the emigrant ship 'Exmouth Castle' by one of the survivors.
The contributor tells of the emigrant ship, 'Exmouth Castle', which foundered off the coast of Islay. She was en-route from Derry to Quebec. The contributor's great-grandmother saw some of the bodies washed ashore. There were only two survivors, one of whom wrote a song about the tragedy.
