Betsy Whyte heard the stories she now tells from her grandparents when she was just an infant. The first thing her grandmother taught the children was the Lord's Prayer, but she said, "from church and heaven" instead of "which art in heaven". Bryce Whyte remarks that the Stewarts are famous storytellers. Betsy says the Johnstons know as many stories but are perhaps less good at telling them.
