Summary
The Rev. MacDougall and all his children were poets. He composed many hymns, which were published in a book. The contributors discuss what became of his family and recite some fragments from two songs they composed. One is about a horse called Sally and the other is about a dog that was accidentally kicked by the housekeeper. There were sixteen poets in Balephuil at one time.
