Summary
Folk clubs in Glasgow in the 1960s.
People from Edinburgh didn't go to folk clubs in Glasgow, though Maggie Cruickshank recalls a busload going from the Howff to an anti-apartheid concert. When she worked in Ayrshire, Bobby Campbell used to take her to a club in Glasgow. There was a another club, in Montrose Street, where anyone could sing on a Wednesday night, and Sunday nights were for guest artists. After singing on a few Wednesdays Maggie was asked to sing on a Sunday.
