Summary - This is a love song in which a woman says that she cannot sleep, as her lover has not come. In the first verse, she says that she climbed to the high hill so that she could see the Point of Stoer from which the men sailed. She describes how her lover saved others when the boat struck the rocks. She describes her lover as being fair and golden haired, the jewel of the young men. If he came to her, she would let him in.
