Summary
The haunting of Windhouse; history of Fetlar churches.
Jeemsie Laurenson tells of the haunting of Windhouse around 1900. He knew a servant there who witnessed some of the occurrences. A man's skeleton was found outside the house and after it was reburied, the ghostly noises ceased. There was a similar de-haunting of the Büde of Urie on Fetlar.
Pirates stole a church bell during a time of shortage of metal. They lost it in the sand and it was salvaged and installed in the west church at Fetlar. Jeemsie gives a history of the west and east churches of Fetlar.
