Tradition relating to a Spanish ship which was anchored in Tobermory Bay. She was blown up by the MacLeans of Duart. There is a place, Uamh a' Chòcaire [the Cook's Cave], where the ship's cook was said to have hidden. The contributor has seen Spanish gold that was said to have been found in the bay.
