Summary
An anecdote about the fairies and the two hump-backed shepherds.
There were two shepherds with humps. One of them went out for a walk in the evening and came to a fairy knoll. He heard them singing a song, "Monday, Tuesday", and he added "Wednesday". This pleased them and as a reward they removed his hump. When the other shepherd saw him and heard the story he also went to the fairy knoll. He heard the fairy song, "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday", and he added "Thursday", but the fairies were angry with him for spoiling the song and gave him the other man's hump on top of his own.
