Summary

The three MacMillan sisters from Mull each won the Gold Medal at the Mòd, between the 1920s and the 1940s. No recording exists of all three singing together, but Fred Macaulay introduces a 1965 recording of two of the sisters singing a song in which the bard is praising the Sound of Mull. Although he has travelled there is no place as beautiful as the Sound of Mull. It is his beloved land and he remembers the time he spent there as a child. Forests and large glens can be seen there.
