Summary
A waulking song in the form of an argument in verse between a poetess of Clanranald and a poetess who praises MacLeod of Harris. The Harris poetess begins by saying she is in a strange land. She is looking out to sea, but cannot see her lover coming. She wishes Clanranald would be lying in the seaweed. The other poetess warns her that her tongue has been sharpened. She then praises Clanranald and his lifestyle.
