Summary
A lament for the Gaels who have left their land. The composer sits alone in the glen, surrounded by beauty but unable to forget those who have gone. He will not see the shepherd or the dairymaid going about their work. The harp of his ancestors is silent and no echo can be heard amongst the rocks.
Item Notes
Recorded at the Royal National Mòd. Composed by Neil MacLeod (mac Dhòmhnaill nan Òran), Glendale, Isle of Skye.
