Title - Gur Gòrach Mi Gad Chaoineadh
Contributors - Mrs Kate MacAulay
Reporters - Calum Iain Maclean

Summary - A man's song of unrequited love. He is depressed and feels betrayed, although he praises her beauty, her conversation and her soft voice, and would still ask for her hand. He feels foolish that he laments her rejection and thinks it would be better in the grave than to be constantly lamenting her. He advises other young men not to pledge their love to a girl, no matter how beautiful or softly spoken, until they are sure of her devotion.
