Staff
Almost 40 people were employed by Tobar an Dualchais at the height of the project, some on a contract basis while others worked as freelancers. Some of the team were based in offices in South Uist, the Isle of Skye and Edinburgh while others, including all the cataloguers, worked from home in various locations across Scotland. As a result, the project stimulated the economy in different parts of the country, including those areas which provided many of the original recordings.
