Adhlaiceadh ga fhaicinn.

Title - Adhlaiceadh ga fhaicinn.
Contributors - Murdo John MacLean
Reporters - Calum Iain Maclean

Summary - Phantom funeral.

The contributor's great grandfather, Dòmhnall Ruadh, was watching over a young girl's grave at a time when body-snatching was commonplace. He saw a boat coming, but stayed hidden until it landed. He went home and told all that he saw to his wife - that he had seen a funeral coming over the hill. He recognised the mourners, but noticed that he was not among them - it was his own corpse which lay in the coffin! Another man, Ruairidh Stewart, saw every funeral before it happened.
