A woman called Margaret MacLeod was in love with Calum. Her mother did not want her to marry a sailor however. She wanted Margaret to marry an older man. Margaret and Calum arranged to meet one dark night, but missed each other. The next morning, Calum sailed away. Margaret had to marry the other man.
