Summary - A lady is walking in her garden when a young sailor asks her if she could fancy him. She says no, as she has loved a sailor who has been away for six years. He says he might be married or dead; she says she wishes him well if married, rest if drowned, but she will not marry another. He offers a castle; she says she would rather have a cup of water. He then reveals the ring they broke; she falls into his arms and they marry.
