Geàrr-chunntas - Bothy song in which a young woman in farm service laments having to leave her friends and sweetheart when the season is over. The farmer's son tells her not to be sad as she has won his affection. She believes herself too lowly to marry him, as she is only his father's servant. He tells her that he would always prefer a "well-doing lass" to a lady with money, and marries her. He bids all his servants change how they address her from then on, calling her his lady.

Lyrics from Ord's 'Bothy Ballads', tune traditional.
