Biography

Muriel Fisher (née MacAskill) was born in Glendale, Skye, in 1950. She latterly was a teacher of Gaelic at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where she lived for four decades. She also regularly taught at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig on their short courses programme.
