Biography

Born and raised in Ledaig, Barra, where he worked as a fisherman. He was a brother of the pioneering Gaelic poet and playwright Donald Sinclair. His grandfather was Duncan Sinclair (Donnchadh Cìobair), who is mentioned in this recording of Nan MacKinnon.
