Biography

Dr Gordon W. MacLennan was a specialist in Irish and Scottish Gaelic linguistics and folklore who worked on the Linguistic Survey of Scotland at the University of Edinburgh. He was the first holder of the Chair of Celtic Studies at the University of Ottawa in 1972.
