Sandy Nimmo was second horseman on John Strachan's farm. One Sunday he was holding the horse while Mr Strachan and his sister got into the trap to go to church. When asked if he ever went to church Nimmo answered that he did not, but had gone regularly for three years when he was responsible for working the bellows for the organ.
