Summary
A wild man is captured by filling a well with whisky.
A wild hairy man lived in the Dunkeld area once. He often drank from a well in Dunkeld woods. Having failed to catch him for many years, the authorities filled the well with whisky. He liked it, drank a great deal, and fell asleep. He was captured and kept imprisoned in a hermitage near Amulree until his death. Long after, a man named Duff went to live there, for a wager.
