In this waulking song, the composer wishes for four fair youths who would sail to Uist. Anna is said to have refused the son of the tacksman of Berneray.

Item Notes

Four couplets sung. Chorus at the beginning and after each couplet. The song is unfinished as the tape comes to an end.

Anna was probably the member of the MacLeans of Boreray, who married John MacDonald of Castleton in Skye in 1690.
