Summary
Evictions in North Uist.
The contributor's own people were evicted from Griminish and his wife's people from Àirigh Mhic Ruairidh were evicted to Horisary. Sollas people shifted to Langass, Locheport, Grimsay and overseas.
Women and police fought at the Battle of Sollas. All the houses were burned except one. The women were then beaten by the police.
