Summary

The Travellers' camp at Moss of Burreldale before the fair. Drink is taken, Jock Stewart wants to start a fight but Annie puts a pail over his head then challenges him. Jock MacQueen is blown away by his own bagpipes, the dogs barked, horse roared and when Docherty arrived covered with mud everyone ran. Now the cart and sheltie [pony] are no more and Travellers need a motor car.

The singer learned the song from Willie Kemp in Meldrum and believed he had written the song.
