Mary Brooksbank's working life.
The first mill Mary Brooksbank worked in was the Baltic, but she was underage and was paid off. After she left school she worked beside her mother at J. M. Kidd's, then at Craigie's as a spinner, then Malcolm Ogilvie's. She married in 1924; her husband died suddenly in 1943. He was a tailor from Dundee and had lost a leg as a boy. His name was Ernest. She talks about stories she wrote.
