Summary
A woman was buried alive, but came back from the grave.
The mother of Ralph and Ebenezer Erskine was thought to be dead and was buried. A grave robber started to dig her up to get at valuable rings on her fingers, but fled in terror when she cried out. She had only been in a trance. She went home, and when her husband heard her at the window, he said, "If my wife was living, I would say that's her voice." She said, "It's me that's in it." Like Christ, she had gone down into the ground and come up again. They were the "founders of the fair" [famous].
