O mo dhùthaich 's tu th' air m' aire
Eilean cùbhraidh ùr nan gallan,
Far am faighte na daoin' uaisle
'N tìr bu dual do Mhac 'ic Ailein.

Tìr a' mhurain, tìr an eòrna
Tìr a' phailteis às gach seòrsa,
Far am faicte gillean òga
'G òl an leanna san taigh-òsta.

Eilean Uibhist 's e tha prìseil
Bha e ann on thràigh an dìle
Thug e àrach dha na mìltean
A' toirt lòin is teach-an-tìr dhaibh.

Thig iad thugaibh carach, seòlta
Gus ar mealladh far ar n-eòlais
Molaidh iad dhuibh Manitòba
Dùthaich fhuar gun ghual, gun mhòine.

Chan eil mise dol ga innse
Nuair a ruigear 's ann a chìthear
Samhradh goirid, foghar sianail
Geamhradh goirid na droch shìde.

'S nam biodh agamsa de stòras
Deise aodaich 's paidhir bhrògan
Is m' fharadh a bhith nam phòcaid
'S ann air Uibhist dhèanainn seòladh.

O mo dhùthaich 's tu th' air m' aire
Eilean cùbhraidh ùr nan gallan
Far am faighte na daoin' uaisle
'N tìr bu dual do Mhac 'ic Ailein.
