Summary
A fox used flattery to make a crow drop the bread it had in its mouth.
A hungry fox saw a crow up in a tree with the heel of a half loaf of bread in its beak. The fox said what a beautiful bird the crow was, but it was a pity it couldn't sing. The crow opened its mouth to sing and dropped the bread, which the fox grabbed and ate. Then he told the crow what he really thought of it. The moral of this story is not to be taken in by flattery.
