Some information regarding the boat 'Frigate Bird'. A letter was written to the police in 1921 by a representative of a Lewis landlord. In it, he complains about this boat which came over from Skye with a crew of six who began poaching deer in Pàirc na Coille.
A story is also told about poachers from Gairloch.
