Summary

Stephen MacIntosh and how he got a coffin for free from a man he had previously been rude to.

Stephen MacIntosh got money from Ranald MacDonald, the factor, for being rude to Dòmhnall Saor. He later went to Dòmhnall Saor to get a coffin for his mother. Stephen said it was too expensive and got it free of charge.

The contributor remembers Stephen. He was as quick to praise as he was to scold. He tells a story to illustrate this.
