Summary
This is the ceòl mòr 'Pìobaireachd Dhùn Naomhaig' [The Piper's Warning to his Master] played on the Highland bagpipe.
Item Notes
This tune was supposedly composed by a MacDonald piper who played the tune to warn his master, Colla Ciotach, not to approach Dunyveg Castle which had been forcibly taken over by his enemies, the Campbells, and where the piper was imprisoned. This tune is also known as 'Colla Mo Rùin'.
