Summary
Dòmhnall na Creige Mòire and the fairy-child.
A fellow by the name of Dòmhnall na Creige Mòire was married but had no children. One day, a male infant appeared out of the blue, and was by no means a placid child. On one occasion, whilst the couple were out at work, an old tailor was asked to keep an eye on the child. The wee fellow took out his black whistle and started to play, until the whole place was full of dancing fairies. Every night was the same, until the fairy-child was told that the Smithy of Cnoc a' Chuilthinn was on fire. On hearing this, he jumped out of the cradle and took to his heels.
