Before Alasdair Mòr was taken by the press gang to the Battle of Waterloo, an old woman made a charm for him saying he would never be killed by a bullet. He returned twenty years later. His mother didn't recognise him as he had a long beard, and wouldn't believe it was him until he had brought pail of water from a certain well.
