Summary
This song is in praise of a MacKenzie of Achilty, and gives information about the social life of an 18th-century chief. The bard wishes he could go to the chief's hunting lodge, where there would be wine, feasting and piping. There would be lots of firearms there, and the chief would own deerhounds.
Item Notes
Six verses sung. The subject of the song seems to be Murdoch MacKenzie, 7th of Achilty.
