Summary

A vision saved a fishing boat crew from the storm.

Mrs Anderson's grandfather was going to Funzie to join his fishing boat and when he was at the Baelans he saw a fleet of boats on dry land. He didn't know what to do, but continued and foolishly said nothing to the rest. When they were off he said that he was not going to put out his packie [section of line]. Then the wind blew up and the rest of the crew had to cut their lines and go.

He had seen the boats sailing on land and therefore knew it was going to be a bad day.
