Summary
An action song, set at a wedding in the Highlands at the time of the Jacobite rising. The guests express their delight at the news that Prince Charles Edward Stuart has returned to Scotland (Òran Eile don Phrionnsa). They dance to mouth music (Nighean na Cailliche Crotaiche Crùbaiche) and wish a blessing on the bridal couple. A guest sings a love song (Mo Chailin Donn Òg) and more dancing follows (Mo Thastan Bòidheach/Gille Calum Dà Pheighinn). The arrival of the prince encourages the bridegroom to join him in his campaign (Tha Tighinn Fodham Èirigh), which leaves the bride lamenting that her love has left her alone (Mò Rùn Geal Òg).
