Tom Anderson tells the story of fiddler Jack (Johnny) Goudie who was "slightly mad" following an accident in the copper mines. One time he went to Lerwick, got a bit out of hand and ended up being put in the cells by police. He was a big man and it was no problem to him to break his way out. On arriving home he composed the reel 'Jack Broke da Prison Door'.
Tom plays the tune on the fiddle.
