Summary
A man chose between his two sweethearts according to whether they could make porridge from shavings.
A rich man had two sweethearts. To choose which one he would marry he set them a test: to make porridge from a basket of shavings. The rich sweetheart put in all the shavings at once and they caught fire. The poor one put the shavings in a little at a time and managed to make porridge and get the rich man for her husband.
