This is the ceòl mòr 'Fàilte a' Phrionnsa' [The Prince's Salute] played on the Highland bagpipe.

In his introduction Francis Collinson states that the tune was composed by John MacIntyre, from the Braes of Rannoch, around the time of the '45. John MacIntyre was a pupil of the MacCrimmons.
