Summary
Piping anecdote about John MacDonald.
John MacDonald won the Gold Medal at Oban some time before the First World War. The Duke of Argyll, who presented the prize, said he didn't know if he was presenting it for John's excellent playing, or his temerity in playing the tune 'The Massacre of Glencoe' in Campbell country. Mr MacKay sings, in canntaireachd form, part of the ground of this tune.
