Summary

The Battle of Tuiteam Tarbhach.

The MacLeods of Assynt came into Sutherland and raided the MacKay cattle from the sheilings. The MacKays chased and killed all but one of the MacLeods, leaving him to tell the tale. This happened at Tuiteam, between Rosehall and Oykel Bridge. Tuiteam means 'the fall' (i.e. of the MacLeods).
